Beautiful book marks, hand made, individually, from recycled piano keys--most ivory--using scrimshaw technique. They average ½ by 4 inches, and are a truly useful and beautiful gift for anyone who reads.
The scanned pictures do not do them justice. The artist first sketches the design, engraves it with a scrimshaw tool, then colors and seals it.
Then, she attaches a small metal cleat to the top, with a color-coordinated ribbon accent.
They are presented on a recycled paper card at $18 including Florida sales tax, postage and handling.
