All save one of the book ends are molded from a compound called Alabastrite. It is both durable and heavy (and rather like "super" plaster of Paris). They are then bronzed or painted. Bookends which actually hold books up! (or I wouldn't sell them.)

The beautiful Hong Tzu Dragons are very complex, and are molded with a colored poly-resin, then selectively stained. Their red eyes glow, and they too are quite heavy.
